Originally built in1927 as the historic Schroeder Hotel, the property features 554 guestrooms and oversees The Marc Hotel with an additional 175 rooms andsuites, offering more than 34,000 square feet of meeting and eventspace. As a Monarch Lounge Cocktail Server, you will play akey role in delivering exceptional service and creating a welcomingatmosphere for our guests by: Providing friendly, attentive, and timelybeverage and snack service Greeting guests warmly and confidentlyexplaining drink specials and promotions Taking accurate orders andentering them promptly into the POS system Demonstrating knowledge ofcocktails, beer selections, taps, and premium brands Maintainingcleanliness of guest tables, service stations, and lounge areasReplenishing beverages and checking back regularly to ensure guestsatisfaction Handling cash accurately and responsibly in a self-bankingenvironment Assisting the bar team and supporting overall loungeoperations Adhering to all state, federal, and corporate liquor laws andsafety standards Performing side work, cleaning duties, and specialguest requests as neededWhat do you bring to the role? Basic knowledgeof food and beverage service (cocktail experience preferred) Ability tomemorize and promote menu items and beverage offerings Strongcommunication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude Comfortworking in both busy and slower-paced environments Ability to lift andcarry trays up to 40 lbs. and remain on your feet for extended periodsCash handling experience and ability to operate a POS system Willingnessto obtain required licenses and certifications (TIPS certificationrequired; bartender certification preferred) No prior experiencerequired-we are happy to train the right candidateScheduling & PhysicalRequirements Part-time position averaging 20-30 hours per week Requiresstanding, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout shiftsIndoor work environment with occasional exposure to lounge-related odorsand cleaning productsWhat's in it for you?
