JOB REQUIREMENTS: Discover. Achieve. Succeed. #BeHere Location:US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility. This job is ON -SITE. FTE: 0.800000 Shift: Shift 4 Job Summary: At the direction of aradiologist or other providers, prepares patients and performsradiographic procedures in diagnostic radiology and operates imagingequipment. Performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelinesand prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiationprotection measures. Adheres to organizational customer servicestandards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives.Provides positive and effective interaction and communication withpatients, visitors, and staff. Performs ancillary services and assistsin patient care areas as necessary. Other duties as assigned EXPERIENCEDESCRIPTION: One year of current clinical experience in diagnosticradiology is preferred. Clinical student experience may be considered inlieu of one year of current clinical experience. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technologyprogram is required. An additional 1-2 years of college/universitycoursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related fieldis preferred but not required. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:Self-motivated; ability to organize and prioritize well; ability toremain flexible and to reorganize priorities when emergencies arise.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiologyand current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required.
