JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Financial Services Coordinator supports theorganization's financial operations by performing and coordinatingday-to-day accounting and financial tasks. This role is responsible forlow- to mid-level accounting functions including accounts payable,accounts receivable, billing, cash receipts, and financial reportingsupport. The Financial Services Coordinator also assists with budgeting,forecasting, and serves as a key liaison to the organization'sthird-party accounting firm. ESSENTIAL DUTIES (FUNCTIONS) include thefollowing: Billing/Accounts Receivable Enters and maintains billing andcustomer data. Prepares and processes routine billing, includingcontract, grant, and private pay billing. Records and deposits cashreceipts into bank. Records electronic deposits. Posts payments andreconciles receivable activity. Monitors accounts receivable and assistswith collections. Maintains billing documentation and compliance.Accounts Payable Processes accounts payable transactions. Reviewsinvoices for accuracy and proper coding. Processes employee expensereimbursements. Coordinates agency credit cards and assists with creditcard reconciliations. Assist Human Resources with payroll processing,including 401k uploads to vendor portal. General Accounting Preparesbasic journal entries and reconciliations as assigned. Assists thirdparty accounting firm with month-end and year-end close. Prepares andmaintains agency cost allocation schedules based on actual usage orsquare footage (e.g., building, vehicle, and maintenance costs).Coordinates quarterly time studies for exempt employees and preparessupporting salary and FTE allocation documentation as directed.
