JOB REQUIREMENTS: OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANYFox TV Stations FOX TelevisionStations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stationsin the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largestdesignated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, includingthe three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of thesestations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition todistributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, ourtelevision stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours oflocal news every week. QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field with a minimum of 3years' reporting experience in a commercial television news operation.You must have a passion for storytelling and come to our editorialmeetings with great story ideas and a vision of how to deliver them ontelevision, digital and streaming. You'll need to exhibit strong on-airskills both in the field and in studio with the ability to ad-lib.Proficiency with newsroom computers and related software required.
