Come Work for a Wonderful Non-Profit Company in Central PennsylvaniaWe are looking for an experienced full-time Marketing and Communications Manager who is a key member of the management team and is responsible for developing and implementing strategic and annual plans through internal and external communications, marketing, web, and social media messaging, to increase visibility and fundraising at the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank (CPFB).u00a0 One of the principal functions will be to manage the messaging and branding for the CPFB internally and externally.u00a0 This includes the development and production of all print and electronic media, as well as providing support for fundraising events.u00a0u00a0 This role drives integrated fundraising campaigns, increasing brand awareness, storytelling, and expanding donor giving that advances the CPFB's mission and build community engagement.u00a0 This position will manage a team of marketing and communications professionals, oversee outside vendors and consultant relationships, ensuring high-impact, mission-aligned execution across all media and messaging.u00a0This role is also responsible for organization-wide internal communications and public relations efforts, working in close collaboration with the CEO and Human Resources to strengthen employee engagement, transparency, and organizational voice.u00a0Benefits:- Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance- Health Savings Account/ Flexible Spending Account- Company Paid Life Insurance- Company Paid Short-term Disability & Long-term Disability- 401k- Paid Time Off- 13 Paid Holidays- Employee Assistance ProgramJob Accountabilities:Strategic Communications and Brand Leadershipu00a0u00a0Develop and implement integrated strategic marketing, communications, media, and engagement plans that support programmatic and fundraising goals, and the mission of the CPFB.Serve as brand steward, ensuring brand identity, messaging, and marketing, communications and media strategies are present in all organizational efforts. Present consistent, clear, and compelling messaging across all platforms and materials.u00a0Maintain an organization-wide editorial calendar and coordinate content delivery for internal and external communications.u00a0Oversee the production, design, and distribution of publications and content, including brochures, slide decks, fact sheets, reports, videos, website content, and social media campaigns.Create and manage a crisis communications plan with input from Executive Leadership.Conduct skillful analysis of identified constituencies and develop communication tactics or outreach to meet identified needs and influence public perception and action.Assist in managing internally-produced communications for consistency and cohesive brand image; ensure that messages are integrated across the organization.u00a0 Proof and edit all promotional materials, including all advertising and digital campaigns and web content.Fundraising Campaigns and Donor CommunicationsLead strategy and execution of donor communications, including online appeals, impact reports, campaign assets, and stewardship materials.u00a0Prioritize donor stewardship encompassing the cultivation, retention, and recognition of individuals, organizations, and corporations.Media Relations and Public RelationsField and direct responses to all media-related inquiries and serve as the lead media contact, spokesperson, or public information officer as directed by the CEO and CDO.Proactively build relationships with media outlets and oversee the development of press releases, op-eds, and public statements.Collaborate on external communication efforts with other team members including, but not limited to, publicity for events, promotion, cause-marketing, program launches, breaking news, etc.Serve as liaison between the CPFB and local and regional journalists to generate increased coverage and awareness o the CPFB's work/mission; cultivate and sustain relationships.Arrange for and manage media visits, events, and photo opportunities.Manage all online media including, but not limited to, CPFB's website and select social media ternal CommunicationsOversee the development and execution of internal communications strategies and tools in partnership with the CEO and CDO.Ensure timely, transparent, and culturally sensitive communications to staff and internal stakeholders.Assist the CEO and CDO in building and training a group of speakers who can articulate the CPFB's story and message at events and speaking engagements.Other ResponsibilitiesWorking with staff, develop a system of metrics to measure effectiveness of communications, marketing and media efforts.Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of all digital marketing activity.Support cross-departmental storytelling efforts to highlight impact and elevate community voice.Support staff with public speaking engagements, community presentations, and event promotions.u00a0Education and Experience:Education:Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or Communications is preferred. Combination of education, experience, and/or training that provides the required knowledge and skills for the position would be considered in lieu of having a degree.Experience:u00a0Five years of progressively responsible experience in project management, development, communications and/or public relations with team leadership and staff management responsibilities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Previous work experience in a non-profit business environment preferred.Additional years of experience combined with an Associate's degree would be considered in lieu of having a Bachelor's degree.Supervisory Responsibilities:Directly supervise 2-3 employees.u00a0Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.u00a0Responsibilities include interviewing, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, addressing complaints, and res
