11 - 177810 alWe have immediate, full-time positions available for Parts Picker Specialists to work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Job Responsibilities:- Perform data entry into the computer inventory systems to include locating, issuing, receiving, and shipping of materials- Perform inventory audits, inspections, and reconciliations of materialsu00a0and monitor and update stock items, minimum and maximum stock levels, and coordinate stock level adjustmentsu00a0- Ensure proper documentation is received by maintenance department when returning unserviceable parts andu00a0communicate with suppliers when unserviceable parts need to be returned- Enhance efficiencies in all areas of development while performing quality parts room functions- Assist, train, and mentor other employees in proper techniques and procedures- Support and promote Safety Management Systems while keeping safety as a core value- Successfully pass the Materials and General Maintenance Manual training courses,u00a0Hazmatu00a0Awareness course, and pass and maintain rating to be able to drive forklifts- Gain efficiency in carrying out all parts room functions in accordance with applicable technical data andu00a0FAAu00a0regulations- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, as well as, all Company policies, procedures, and risk controls- Perform other duties as assignedJobu00a0Qualifications:- Must have a High School Diploma oru00a0GED- Must have basic knowledge of all shippingu00a0and receiving functions and responsibilities, as well as, warehousingu00a0and Inventory skills- Must be able to understand the functions of the Parts Department and the roles and responsibilities of a Parts Specialist- Must have basic computer skills and knowledge- Must have the ability to accurately use small and large weighing scales and lift 30 to 40 pounds with ease- Must have strong communication and organizational skills,u00a0while paying a high attention to detail- Must be able to spread theu00a0Flexjetu00a0culture to others while displaying the company fundamental principles daily- Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues and able to worku00a0flexible shifts and/or work variable hours including holiday and weekendsOnly candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.u00a0u00a0This company offers a safe and rewarding workplace with competitive pay and employee benefits upon permanent hire.Area Temps still believes that the best way to serve both our employees and our customers is through personal service.
