Job Description

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for:- Repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, robots, conveyor systems, production machines and other equipment.- Troubleshooting electrical systems including, but not limited to three-phase motors, start/stop circuits, AC/DC drives, running electrical conduit, and read electrical prints.- Performing equipment installation, PMs, and completing assigned projects.u00a0 Duties and Responsibilities- The Maintenance Technician will be maintaining & supporting all equipment in JIT Production Environment and other areas as required.- Complete all tasks, work orders, & PM's as directed by supervisor in a safe & timely manner.- Make approved modifications to machinery and equipment to meet production needs.- Perform repairs, rebuild & trouble shoot equipment to ensure production efficiencies are met.- Daily record all line calls, work orders, PM's & work history electronically in eMaintenance System.- Complete all required and applicable training required by Adient.- Must be willing to work overtime as needed (daily, weekly, shutdowns etc.)- Must be willing to work any shift on short, but reasonable notice.u00a0- Must continuously improve and develop skills/knowledge.- Complete all other tasks as requested by the Engineering Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor- Authority and responsibility to stop the production line should a safety or quality issue appear.- Maintain license to operate a Hilo, Scissor Lift and Articulating Lift- Excellent attendance and steady work history.u00a0 Experience and Education Requirements- 3-5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environments.- Industrial automotive experience (Preferred).- Mechanical, Technical & Electrical Expertise (Preferred).- High school diploma or equivalent, certification (Preferred).u00a0Job and Physical Requirements- The Maintenance Technician must be able to work on 2nd shift (Mon - Fri, 2:00pm - 10:00pm).- Ability to lift 30lbs.- Ability to safely access vertical areas via stairs or ladder.- Ability to safely work with Power Tools.- Standing or walking 6-8 hours to assist production.- Bending, Pushing, & Pulling.u00a0PRIMARY LOCATIONu00a0Bridgewater Interiors IV
