Description We are looking for an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This is a contract-to-permanent position, offering an exciting opportunity to apply cutting-edge AI technologies to real-world challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, data preprocessing, and model development, as well as a keen interest in exploring innovative AI tools and frameworks. Responsibilities: u2022 Design, train, and optimize machine learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, and Keras. u2022 Integrate AI solutions into existing applications and services within secure on-premises environments. u2022 Experiment with large language models (LLMs) and agent-based coding tools to assess their potential for automation and analytics. u2022 Process and analyze structured and unstructured data from various internal systems to enhance model performance. u2022 Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with Criminal Justice Information Systems and Personally Identifiable Information protection standards. u2022 Work alongside analysts and IT professionals to identify opportunities for AI-driven operational improvements. u2022 Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality outcomes. u2022 Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and prototype new tools while adhering to data governance principles. u2022 Conduct feature engineering and model evaluations to refine AI solutions. Requirements u2022 Proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, and Keras. u2022 Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines, and AI agent frameworks. u2022 Strong programming skills in Python or C#. u2022 Knowledge of secure coding practices and data protection standards. u2022 Ability to work with structured and unstructured datasets from various sources, including databases, APIs, and logs. u2022 Analytical skills to solve complex problems and implement innovative solutions. u2022 Effective communication abilities for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders. u2022 Commitment to continuous learning and responsible data handling practices.
