Description PCSI is looking for a Grounds Maintenance at El Paso Border Patrol A Grounds Maintenance will perform a variety of grounds maintenance functions in a variety of skilled and semi-skilled craft trades to support assigned contract. This position will report to the project manager and is based at El Paso, Texas. Typical work hours will be from 6:00am to 2:30pm. What you'll do as a Grounds Maintenace: u2022 Perform a variety of grounds maintenance functions in a variety of skilled and semi-skilled craft trades to support assigned contract. u2022 Assist in the planning, layout and completion of modifications and repairs. u2022 Assist in the accomplishment of minor grounds maintenance tasks which must be performed to proficiency. u2022 Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of grounds equipment. What you'll need to Be Successful: u2022 High school diploma or GED u2022 Minimum of (1) year of prior experience in grounds keeping or landscaping preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities u2022 Ability to climb, bend, squat, lift and carry objects ranging from 10-60 pounds; Occasionally push objects up to 100 pounds; prolong walking up to 90%. u2022 Knowledge of methods used in grounds keeping, including use of all types of lawn equipment. u2022 Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery. u2022 Ability to demonstrate accuracy and speed in work performed. u2022 Ability to read, understand, and complete incoming work orders. u2022 Ability to understand and follow policies, procedures and regulations as needed. u2022 Ability to communicate both orally and in written format. u2022 Ability to work as a team member and develop effective working relationships with other staff and clients. Other Requirements: u2022 Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening. u2022 Ability to work outside in inclement weather as needed and be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors. u2022 Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays. u2022 Possess valid driveru2019s license and maintain good driving record. u2022 If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
