This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. What Youu2019ll Get To Do: The selected candidate will join a team of diverse Modeling, Simulations, and Analysis (MS&A) engineers in the model Verification and Validation (V&V) and model governance team as the team Product Owner. This role will involve leading a team that is developing MBSE content, defining and updating documentation standards, and reviewing V&V artifacts from external IPTs. The role will require regular coordination between teams and expertise in supporting artifacts from creation to DoD acceptance. Candidate must have an in depth of MBSE and the ability to coach and mentor others in the processes. The selected candidate will also be responsible for a Systems Engineering discipline Section within the SDS Systems Engineering organization and will report directly to an SDS Systems Engineering Department Manager. You will provide career mentorship and operational support to a Functional Home Room (FHR) team (Section) of between 8 and 12 Individual Contributors (ICs) based on Engineering goals, objectives, and company policy. Key FHR responsibilities will be personnel performance management, process familiarization and training for Section members, as well as staffing of roles on projects. As a Section Manager you will be expected to spend roughly 20% of your effort on Functional Homeroom responsibilities with 80% of your efforts as the V&V Team Product Owner. Youu2019ll Bring These Qualifications u2022 Bacheloru2019s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) from an accredited university with 8 years of experience; or Master's degree in STEM with 6 years of experience u2022 Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 yearsu2022 Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need u2022 Experience utilizing the Agile Scrum Framework u2022 Experience in MS&A areas to include V&V u2022 Experience developing V&V artifacts u2022 Experience developing MBSE content u2022 Experience guiding technical documents through review processes in a DoD environment Preferred Qualifications u2022 Have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope. u2022 At least 1 year leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule u2022 Prior Experience as an Agile Product Owner u2022 Excellent communication and organizational skills u2022 Proficiency in MBSE tools (Cameo, DOORs, CPLM, PLM, or similar) u2022 Demonstrated experience identifying and proactively mitigating programmatic or technical risks u2022 Familiarity with large missile systems u2022 Experience guiding engineers through technical processes u2022 Experience providing oversite to multi-disciplinary teams and working across IPT boundaries u2022 Experience with Agile Release Train (ART) or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) u2022 Expert with the Atlassian Tool Suite u2022 Background in computer programming including Python, C, C#, and C+u2022 Experience with MIL-STD-3022 Primary Level Salary Range: $146,500.00 - $219,700.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
