The Fiscal Services Specialist is responsible forproviding real estate development fiscal services including analyses,agency insurance management, and overall support to the Fiscal Servicesteam. The candidate will work in a hybrid-remote manner after aninitial training period, roughly 3 days/week onsite. Responsibilitiesinclude: Provide all real estate development fiscal services throughcollaboration with Fiscal leadership, development managers, Real EstateDevelopment leadership, and other managers/leaders as appropriateProactively provide clear analyses of real estate development financesas related to current and future projects Actively participate in, andcontribute solutions to, project planning including execution and followup Prepare and maintain project authorizations, budgets, financialschedules, and other project-related information Organize, coordinate,and prepare intricate project cost requisitions, adhering to challengingdeadlines In support of projects, coordinate, organize, and preparecheck requests, invoices, requests for on-line cash transfers orpayments, and general ledger entries Submit required reports in a timelyand accurate manner; perform various program tasks as assigned and incollaboration with senior management Manage all program insurance needsin the form of renewals and new procurements Establish and maintainstrong, collaborative relationships with staff (including acrossdepartments) to achieve goals Proactively identify and inform leadershipof any significant issues that may adversely affect the departmentand/or organization Remain current on general accounting principlesRequirements include: 5 years' equivalent experience in real estatedevelopment accounting with 1 year as a field specialist; a combinationof experience plus a Bachelor's degree may be a substitute Demonstratedability with automated accounting systems, database management andadministration, and the ability to generate general and customizedreports Advanced technical skills in databases and the Microsoft Suite(including Excel), with comfort learning new technologies Excellentanalytical thinking, with confidence to apply patterns to proposeconclusions or solutions Highly organized, with a track record ofmeeting short- and long-term responsibilities in a fast-paced,deadline-driven, high-volume organization
