We want your knowledge and expertise Job Summary and Qualifications Under the guidance and direction of the Director of Nursing and the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, provides nursing leadership for assessing, planning , implementing and evaluating patient care and safety in assigned areas of responsibility in a Cardiac Specialty Unit. Collaborates with physicians and other departments to coordinate the needs of patients and their families. Manages resources in a fiscally responsible manner. Supports the mission and vision of the facility, division and company. Assures quality care through the initiation and evaluation of patient care utilizing performance improvement process. What qualifications you will need: Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required. Knowledge/Professional Licensure/Registration/Certifications: Current state of Kansas RN license, or MO Compact State license required. Certification in area of specialty preferred. BLS, ALS certifications required and maintained in monitored departments. Experience: Three (3) years current clinical nursing experience required. Administrative Skills: Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, organization and leadership skills required. Equipment/Machine Skills: Basic computer knowledge required. Other Skills: Demonstrated leadership ability with the skill to educate others required.
