DescriptionThis position focuses on classroom and community-based facilitation of programs such as Reducing the Risk (RTR), Making Proud Choices - In/Out of Home Care (MPC), Love Notes, and other approved SRAE/PREP curricula. Educators are responsible for facilitating lessons with fidelity, engaging youth through trauma-informed and culturally competent instruction, and collecting required data for evaluation.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCurriculum DeliveryFacilitate TPP and SRAE/PREP curricula with fidelity, ensuring sessions adhere to all federal, state, and funder guidelines.Deliver engaging, ageappropriate, and medically accurate instruction in school and communitybased tegrate traumainformed, culturally responsive, and inclusive teaching practices.Use interactive teaching strategies such as group discussions, role plays, and skillbuilding exercises.Youth Development and Family EngagementReinforce positive youth development principles that promote selfesteem, communication, and decisionmaking skills.Encourage parental or guardian participation through workshops and educational outreach.Provide referrals to supportive community resources as needed.Program Coordination and OutreachSupport school and community partner recruitment for program implementation.Participate in outreach and mobilization events to increase program visibility and enrollment.Assist with the coordination of youth leadership activities and recognition events.Data Collection and ComplianceAccurately complete enrollment forms, attendance, pre/postsurveys, and fidelity monitoring tools.Enter data into program systems on a timely basis.Maintain compliance with all data protection and confidentiality standards (HIPAA, FERPA, etc.).Professional DevelopmentAttend professional training sessions, team meetings, and curriculum fidelity reviews.Stay informed on emerging trends in adolescent health, risk avoidance, and prevention education.
