The role will be responsible for building and tuning high-performance engines. The Engine Builder II will keep detailed records of component data.As an Engine Builder II, you will be responsible for: Assemble and build any type of engine, following industry standard assembly techniquesMeasure components to close tolerancesSet and verify part clearancesUse measuring instruments, such as calipers, gauges, or micrometersUse of required hand toolsEngine build record keeping with component history dataTo be considered an Engine Builder II, you will need:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 4 years of engine build experienceAbility to operate typical shop equipment (hoists, jacks, hand tools, etc.)Ability to diagnose engine mechanical issuesMust have basic computer skills and excellent organizational skillsMust be flexible and eager to learnMust pay strong attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA successful candidate may also have: Ability to complete engine teardown/build skills and able to follow 543 chartsAbility to perform simple fabricationsAbility to weld and perform basic wiring tasksAbility to diagnose electrical issuesAbility to set-up and test using an engine dynamometerAbility to work overtime as needed including weekendsIf you share our passion for providing innovative solutions to complex challenges, we want you on our team.Please visit our careers page and apply by clicking on this link:
