We partner with our Nurses at HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress Job Summary and Qualifications The Registered Nurse delivers professional nursing care to population-specific patients on the Acute Inpatient Units to include, Acute Care Medicine, Acute Care Telemetry, Acute Care Cardiac, Acute Care Cardiopulmonary, Chest Pain, Neuroscience, Neuro-Stroke, Neuro Spine, Observation, Ortho Surgical Trauma, Post-Surgical. Follows the Board of Nursingu2019s (BON) Standards of Nursing Practice utilizing the nursing process in care delivery. Maintains accountability for professional decisions and actions within the parameters of their legal scope of practice and in accordance with the federal, state, and local laws; rules and regulations; and policies, procedures and guidelines of Gulf Coast Division (GCD). u2022 Required to float to other areas in the facility within their competency range. u2022 Professional Nursing Organization Membership strongly encouraged. u2022 Certification in area of specialty preferred. u2022 Ability to work at a fast pace and to prioritize multiple assignments/projects and respond to numerous requests. u2022 Ability to resolve conflicts among staff and to work collaboratively with department director, physicians and other members of the healthcare team. u2022 Ability to ensure operational efficiency, problem solve and make decisions. u2022 Ability to exercise self-control and tolerate stress when dealing with multiple requests and/or conflicting demands from multiple customers.
