This position will assist with the deployment, activation, and maintenance of closed-circuit television (CCTV) and alarm systems across Spirit Halloween and Spencer’s locations. The successful candidate will gain exposure to real LP investigations, locksmith functions, and security operations, developing a unique and practical skillset for a future career in asset protection or corporate securityKey Responsibilities/RequirementsAssist with the deployment, setup, and ongoing maintenance of CCTV camera systems and alarm systems for both Spirit Halloween and Spencer’s storesSupport the LP team with troubleshooting and basic upkeep of physical security systems including safes, access controls, and surveillance equipmentParticipate in investigations by observing interviews, reviewing case documentation, and assisting with report developmentShadow and assist with basic locksmith-related tasks to support store security infrastructureGain exposure to risk mitigation strategies and LP protocols within a retail environmentCollaborate with internal partners including Store Operations and Facilities to support loss prevention initiativesKey Competencies/QualificationsCurrently pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related fieldStrong interest in asset protection, corporate security, or physical security systemsBasic understanding of surveillance systems, alarm systems, or investigative procedures is a plusStrong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and willingness to learn technical skills such as locksmithingAbility to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalismStrong interpersonal and communication skills to work across departments and teamsThe pay range reflects the potential rate for this role.
