This position will assist Segment management with special projects, profitability analysis, business expansion support, etc.Key Functionswill include but not be limited to:Direct and coordinate Segment’s GAAP and Management reportingAnalyze operating results on a monthly, quarterly and annual basisDevelop forecasting models to assist Senior Manager with business decision supportEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirementsDirect financial and SOX audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvementsWork with department managers to develop the annual budget and planMonitor expenses and suggest productivity improvements and/or expense saving initiativesManages billing and cash receipts processesAdminister collateral program by performing credit risk evaluationsSupervise professional team of accountants who perform transactional accountingBachelors Degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA Preferred10+ years of progressive financial experience in the property & casualty insurance industry, with at least 5 years of management experienceWe do not accept any unsolicited resumes from external recruiting agencies or firms.The company offers a competitive compensation plan and robust benefits package for full time regular employees.The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.Sponsorship not Offered for this Role
