Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilledData Scientist with strong experience in ServiceNow and JavaScript to support mission-critical programs in a cleared environment. This role focuses on leveraging advanced analytics, automation, and platform integrations within the ServiceNow ecosystem to deliver actionable insights for government and intelligence stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and a minimum of 5 years of hands-on data science experience.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy advanced data models, predictive analytics, and machine learning solutions in a classified environmentBuild and integrate data science solutions within the ServiceNow platform, including Performance Analytics, custom applications, and workflow automationDevelop and maintain JavaScript code, including ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, REST/SOAP APIs)Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and mission-relevant insightsCollaborate with government, intelligence, and internal technical teams to translate mission requirements into scalable analytics solutionsCreate dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support operational and strategic decision-makingEnsure compliance with data security, governance, and classified handling requirementsProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team membersRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s preferred)5+ years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or a related technical roleActive TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; or Active TS/SCI with ability to pass a polygraphDemonstrated experience with ServiceNow, including integrations, Performance Analytics, and/or custom application developmentStrong proficiency in JavaScript, particularly within the ServiceNow platformExperience with statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling techniquesStrong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasetsAbility to work effectively in a classified, on-site environmentPreferred QualificationsServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS, or Performance Analytics)Proficiency in Python or R for advanced analytics and model developmentExperience supporting DoD, IC, or other federal government customersFamiliarity with cloud or hybrid environments in cleared settingsExperience working in Agile/Scrum development environmentsPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
