Iceplex Associates work in one or more Iceplex roles including, but not limited to, Team Shop, Skate Guard, Concessions, Maintenance, Event Coordinator, Lot Attendant, and other roles as assigned.This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.15 to $17.00Benefits for PT roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.This position will remain open until April 10, 2026.Exhibit professional workplace conduct at all times with customers, partners, contractors, vendors, and co-workersBring an enthusiastic attitude every shift.Provide enthusiastic customer service at all timesMaintain a clean and organized workspaceStock and organize products and suppliesAct as cashier to sell services, merchandise, registrations, food, and drinks (including alcohol).Label and inventory product inventoryBe willing to learn how to sharpen hockey and figure skatesSharpen skates for customers and sharpen rental skatesProvide rental skates to customers at public skating and other eventsAct as an on-ice skate guard, if applicableAnswer phone calls and provide knowledgeable information to customersMonitor Iceplex parking lot and related outdoor areasMonitor Iceplex events including, but not limited to, adult hockey, youth hockey, college hockey, events, shows, competitionsMake quick decisions and exercise good judgment in a variety of circumstances, including emergency situationsOther duties as assignedDisplay self-motivationDemonstrate sound organizational, coordinating, and personal interface skillsProven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detailMust be flexible and willing to work nights, weekends, and some holidaysA strong understanding for the importance of job execution is necessary along with taking responsibility for decision-makingAt OVG, we understand that to continue positively disrupting the sports and live entertainment industry, we need a diverse team to help us do it.
