Medical Lab ScientistUnityPoint - Allen Hospital Shift: Full-Time; 1230PM - 11 PM, 11 AM - 930 PM; fill-in nights; Holiday & weekend rotationPotential Sign On Bonus: $5,000.00 paid over 1 yearThe Medical Laboratory Scientist position is responsible for performing laboratory tests and analyses in the hematology, blood bank, special chemistry, chemistry and microbiology departments in the laboratory. The Medical Laboratory Scientist collects and processes patient specimens within the laboratory and is responsible for quality control and maintenance of laboratory equipment. Associate must present record of certification to the Laboratory Director within 1 year of employment and/or within 90 days of expiration of MLS certification.Qualifies as testing personnel under Federal Register 493.1489At UnityPoint Health, you matter.
