Requisition ID: 177136 Job Level: Senior Level Home District/Group: Kiewit Quality Department: Quality Market: Industrial Employment Type: Full Time Position Overview Kiewit is seeking a technically skilled and experienced Corporate Quality Lead to oversee quality assurance and control for data center construction projects across North America. This role is critical to ensuring that Kiewitu2019s data center builds meet stringent client specifications, industry standards, and internal quality benchmarks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, construction, and quality systems, with specific experience in mission-critical infrastructure such as data centers. This individual will lead the development and execution of quality strategies, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives tailored to the unique demands of hyperscale and enterprise data center environments. District Overview Kiewitu2019s Quality Group is a shared service that maintains and executes quality standards on projects across the company. Our principal quality objectives are to meet or exceed clientsu2019 expectations and to eliminate rework by performing our work u201cright the first time.u201d We monitor our performance against these objectives and require continual improvement. Location This position will be based on site at one of our Data Center projects across the country. Travel and project subsistence will be provided. Responsibilities u2022 Lead the quality strategy and execution for data center construction projects across the company. u2022 Develop and implement project-specific quality plans, procedures, and audit protocols. u2022 Ensure compliance with client specifications, industry codes (e.g., Uptime Institute, ASHRAE, IEEE), and internal standards. u2022 Collaborate with project teams, engineering, and commissioning groups to ensure quality is embedded throughout the project lifecycle. u2022 Conduct quality audits and inspections, analyze findings, and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement. u2022 Serve as the technical authority on quality matters related to electrical, mechanical, and structural systems in data centers. u2022 Mentor and support regional and project-level quality managers and engineers. u2022 Interface with clients and stakeholders to communicate quality performance and resolve issues proactively. u2022 Develop and maintain quality metrics dashboards to track performance across multiple projects. u2022 Support root cause analysis and corrective action processes for major quality issues. u2022 Lead lessons learned workshops and integrate findings into future project planning. u2022 Ensure proper documentation and traceability of quality records, inspections, and testing. u2022 Coordinate with procurement and subcontractors to ensure quality requirements are clearly defined and met. u2022 Participate in commissioning and turnover activities, ensuring quality deliverables are complete and accurate. u2022 Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in data center construction and quality management. #LI-SL1 Qualifications u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field (Masteru2019s preferred). u2022 Minimum 10 years of experience in quality management within the construction or engineering industry, with at least 5 years focused on data center or mission-critical projects. u2022 Deep understanding of data center systems, including electrical distribution, HVAC, fire protection, and commissioning processes. u2022 Experience with ISO 9001, LEAN construction, and other quality frameworks. u2022 Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. u2022 Certifications such as CQA, CQE, or PMP are highly desirable. u2022 Willingness to travel to project sites across North America.
