IT Director

Description We are looking for an experienced IT Director to lead technological initiatives and manage IT operations in Jacksonville, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology leadership within industries such as supply chain, manufacturing, or electrical energy services. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of driving innovation and ensuring the seamless integration of systems and processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee IT operations, including infrastructure management, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and disaster recovery planning. u2022 Develop and implement enterprise-wide policies to support technology infrastructure and ensure compliance. u2022 Lead the integration and optimization of software platforms and workflows to enhance organizational productivity. u2022 Manage the implementation of supply chain, warehouse, and financial management solutions. u2022 Drive innovation by fostering the adoption of artificial intelligence and advanced data analytics. u2022 Develop and present business cases for technological investments, including buy, build, and service decisions. u2022 Negotiate contracts, optimize licensing agreements, and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure service quality. u2022 Provide leadership in engineering, data collection, and the monitoring of remote operation centers and assets. u2022 Establish IT strategies and roadmaps to align technology initiatives with business objectives. u2022 Supervise helpdesk operations and support services to maintain high levels of user satisfaction. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management within manufacturing, supply chain, or related industries. u2022 Proven leadership experience in roles such as IT Director or VP of Technology. u2022 Expertise in implementing and managing enterprise software applications and third-party products. u2022 Solid understanding of computer networks, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. u2022 Familiarity with database applications such as SQL Server and other data management tools. u2022 Experience in developing and deploying business intelligence and analytics solutions. u2022 Strong contract negotiation skills and ability to manage vendor relationships effectively. u2022 Demonstrated ability to create strategic IT roadmaps and deliver on major change initiatives.
