We are seeking an RF Systems Analysis Engineer for Lockheed Martin, supporting RF simulation analysis, antenna test data analysis, and captive flight test performance data analysis. Our team is responsible for ensuring the performance of passive RF sensor systems, and you will play a key role in analyzing and evaluating sensor performance. What You Will Be Doing As the RF Systems Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for: u2022 Conducting RF requirements analyses and executing trade studies to optimize system performance u2022 Analyzing test data, including signal post-processing, visualization, and comparison with modeled data u2022 Performing statistical analysis to evaluate key performance parameters of a passive RF sensor, such as estimating parameters of an assumed probability distribution u2022 Using computing tools like MATLAB for simulation and analysis u2022 Evaluating sensor performance to ensure it meets passive sensor requirements. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Math, or a related STEM field. u2022 Active DoD Secret Clearance is required to be considered for this position, therefore you must be a US Citizen. u2022 Experience in RF sensor data analysis, signal processing, or related aerospace/defense work. u2022 MATLAB: Proficiency (tool development, scripting, code review, etc.). - RF Knowledge: Understanding of antenna theory, RF Sensors, RF front end architectures, signal and digital processing, and sensing modalities or a combination of the above skills and a willingness to deepen expertise. u2022 Programming: Strong programming abilities, particularly in Python and C++; familiarity with data handling libraries (NumPy, pandas, etc.). u2022 Algorithms: Familiarity with algorithm design, including but not limited to RF signal and digital processing (CFAR/detection, False Alarm Rate (FAR), waveform/PRF selection, variable range resolution, etc.), scheduling/resource management, trackers, Kalman filters, optimization, etc. Desired Skills: u2022HWIL: Experience with hardware in the loop (HWIL) test setups. u2022Data Sources: Exposure to flight, HWIL, and high fidelity simulation data environments. u2022Version Control: Experience with GitLab (branching, CI/CD, merge request workflow). u2022Aptitude for learning on the job Top Secret Clearance Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
