Desktop Support Analyst

Description We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. This role involves hands-on support for infrastructure deployment, equipment management, and ensuring secure connectivity to our systems. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in desktop support and demonstrate a reliable ability to manage technical tasks independently. Responsibilities: u2022 Assist with redeploying infrastructure in collaboration with remote teams. u2022 Verify security protocols and establish secure tunnels connecting systems. u2022 Conduct inventory assessments and breakdown of equipment. u2022 Serve as the on-site technical representative, providing hands-on support to remote teams. u2022 Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktop hardware and software. u2022 Ensure seamless integration of virtual infrastructure with existing systems. u2022 Collaborate with AT& T to complete connectivity tasks efficiently. u2022 Document processes and maintain accurate records of equipment and system changes. u2022 Test and deploy desktop imaging solutions to meet operational needs. Requirements u2022 Strong proficiency in managing PC desktops and workstations. u2022 Hands-on experience with Active Directory administration. u2022 Solid knowledge of desktop hardware and troubleshooting techniques. u2022 Expertise in Microsoft Windows 10 operating system. u2022 Proven ability to deploy and manage desktop imaging solutions. u2022 Ability to meet any necessary pre-employment requirements is preferred. u2022 Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently in technical environments.
