This job is ON -SITE. $5,000 sign on bonus FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours: 40.00 Shift:4 Shift Details: Float pharmacy technician working 8-hour shifts workingthe hours between 6am-11pm. You would be rotating thru a variety ofshifts with closing one possibly two shifts per week and one weekendshift every four to six weeks. Job Summary: Provides technical andclerical assistance to the pharmacist in the processing of medicationorders and the monitoring of drug therapy. May procure, measure,compound, count, and deliver medications under the supervision of apharmacist. Functions within the guidelines of the Wisconsin Statutesand Administrative Code - Pharmacy Examining Board - Pharmacy PracticeSections. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of 1 year of work experiencein a hospital pharmacy department is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:High School diploma or equivalent is required. Graduate of an accreditedpharmacy technician training program is preferred. LICENSUREDESCRIPTION: Application for Wisconsin registration as a PharmacyTechnician is required by hire date and must be obtained within 12months of hire. Staff hired into this role prior to 3/31/23 must haveapplied for Wisconsin registration by 3/31/23 and have until 3/31/24 toobtain registration.
