Job Summary: At the direction of aradiologist operates computed tomography (CT) and related equipment.Performs CT studies according to specific guidelines, prescribedprotocols and utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures.Reviews images; archives with associated patient data. Interacts withimaging personnel, nursing and medical staff, patients and visitors.Performs other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of1 year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology ispreferred. Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of oneyear of current clinical experience. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Post highschool completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program isrequired. 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or anundergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiologyand current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required. Advancedcertification in CT required within 18 months of hire/transfer.
