FTE: 0.875000 Shift: Shift 3 Job Summary: Two years of experiencepreferred. 8:00pm-6:30am 7/70 schedule. Under supervision, performs thefunctions of Electroencephalography (EEG) by group and/or individualteaching, observation, assigned reading, and practical application underthe direct supervision of laboratory staff. Additional duties includebut not limited to charge capture, scheduling patients, and other dutiesas assigned. May be required to float to other sites to ensure optimaldepartment operations. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Must meet one of thefollowing requirements: 1. Ability to perform departmental competenciesfor Tech 1 role or 2. Successful completion of an accreditedNeurodiagnostic Technologist Associate Degree program. EDUCATIONDESCRIPTION: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Combinationof equivalent formal training/internship along with work experienceand/or enrollment in an accredited electroneurodiagnostic technologyprogram accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education andAccreditation LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: American Heart Association (AHA)Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approvedequivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
