JOB REQUIREMENTS: The MA in this role in Organizational Learning, inpartnership with Workforce Development, will oversee the Bridge toClinical Readiness Program (BTCR) partnering with key stakeholders inOL, ambulatory and workforce development. The complexity ofapprenticeship requirements, clinical rotations, externships, andlearner progression necessitates a dedicated educator role that canfocus on program-management role. This role will ensure programconsistency, regulatory compliance, and learner experience as well asprovide program governance, coordination, and evaluation; supportapprentices and clinical preceptors; and ensure alignment witheducational standards. The individual in this role will besolution-oriented, autonomous, forward-thinking and system-thinking,able to build partnerships within the system and with potential MAapprentice programs. Position Details Location: Milwaukee, WI (FroedtertHospital) - On-Site. Travel needed for Monday orientation's inMenomonee Falls and clinic visits to support new hires, remediation orteaching classes. FTE: 1.000 Standard Hours: 40 Shift: 1 Schedule:Monday-Friday Job Summary: Responsible for assessing learning needs andlearning performance/competence of the MA/LPN role in assigned clinicalarea(s). In collaboration with key stakeholders, the ClinicalEducator-MA designs, develops, implements, and evaluates education usingbest available evidence to meet identified learning needs of staffincluding but not limited to: onboarding, competency, regulatoryeducation, supporting professional development, and just-in-timeeducation. Acts in the role of collaborative partner and educationalleader, facilitator, instructor, subject matter expert, change agent,mentor, consultant and advocate. Partners with System Educators toidentify and develop role-based and/or specialty-area education. DeploysFroedtert Health System (FH) education/programming at thelocal/specialty level. Teaches system, site, role-based anddepartment/specialty-based classes/courses as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Aminimum of three years of recent applicable clinical practice experienceas a Medical Assistant or LPN. Experience in an informal or formalleadership capacity (ex. Preceptor, Lead, Governance Council Chair,leader, etc.). Experience in applying adult learning principles andinstructional/curriculum design, preferred. Experience in precepting ortraining in clinical setting, preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Highschool diploma or equivalent required. In addition, individuals mustmeet one (1) of the following combinations of education and experience:A.) A graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant Program(Associate, Diploma or Certificate). B.) A graduate of a non CAAHEP orABHES Medical Assistant program (Associate, diploma, or Certificate) orMilitary Medic/Corpsman training. In addition to education, three (3)years of formal on the job Medical Assistant experience required. C.)Currently possess and are in good standing with at least one of thefollowing credentials: a.) Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) b.)Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) c.) Assessment Based Recognition inOrder Entry (ABROE) d.) CCMA Certified Clinical Medical Assistant.SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Proficient in Microsoft applications andcomputer skills, required.
