FTE: 0.900000 Standard Hours: 36.00 Shift: Shift 1 Shift Details:Weekend Program (hourly rate plus 15%) Friday- Saturday. 7:00a-7:30p.Job Summary: Must be competent and able to perform EEG-LTM-EMU plus oneother Modality either EP, EMG, MEG or AUT. OR have their R. EEG T. Underthe limited supervision of the Neurodiagnostic (ND) Tech Educator ordelegated team member, prepares patients for a combination of routineElectroencephalography (EEG), Electromyography (EMG), long-term andintraoperative monitoring, evoked potentials, nerve conductionvelocities, autonomic testing, Neuro Interventional radiology WADA andPositron Emission Tomography (PET) including diagnostic andinvestigative studies in the laboratory, at the bedside, and in criticalcare units, on all ages of patients served by the department. Additionalduties but not limited to charge capture, scheduling patients and otherduties as assigned. May be required to float to other sites to ensureoptimal department operations. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Ability toperform Electroencephalography (EEG), in addition to 1 or more of thefollowing Nerve Conduction Velocity Testing (EMG/NCV), Autonomics, LongTerm Monitoring, Evoked Potentials or Magnetoencephalography. A minimumof 2 years of experience is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: HighSchool diploma or equivalent is required. 2+ years of proven experienceas a Neurodiagnostic Technician is preferred and/or a proven ability toperform Electroencephalography, in addition to 1 or more of thefollowing: Nerve Conduction Velocity Testing, Autonomics, Long TermMonitoring, Evoked Potentials or Magnetoencephalography, or be agraduate of an accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology program accreditedby the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation by theAmerican Board of Registration of Electroencephalography E EvokedPotentials (ABRET). LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: American Heart Association(AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHAapproved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
