Description We are looking for an experienced Corporate Controller to oversee financial operations for multiple manufacturing entities in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This role is integral to ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and optimizing accounting systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost accounting, system implementation, and team leadership within a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage accounting functions, including general ledger, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and inventory accounting for multiple manufacturing entities. u2022 Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant standards. u2022 Ensure adherence to tax regulations, audit requirements, and internal control policies. u2022 Coordinate external audits and maintain relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies. u2022 Monitor intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, and eliminations to ensure consistency. u2022 Lead the implementation and optimization of financial systems across manufacturing entities, collaborating with IT and operations teams. u2022 Develop and maintain accurate costing models, inventory valuations, and variance analyses. u2022 Partner with operations teams to evaluate production costs, material usage, and efficiency metrics. u2022 Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights that support strategic decision-making. u2022 Supervise and mentor finance and purchasing teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Masteru2019s degree is preferred. u2022 Certification such as CPA or CMA is highly desirable. u2022 At least 7-10 years of progressive finance experience within a manufacturing setting. u2022 Expertise in cost accounting, inventory control, and production financial analysis. u2022 Proven experience in leading system implementations or upgrades in a manufacturing environment. u2022 Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop cross-functional teams. u2022 Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. u2022 Familiarity with supply chain finance, material requirements planning systems, and operational integration.
