Description Robert Half is currently recruiting for a detail-oriented Sr. Staff Accountant to join our client's team in the Knoxville, Tennessee. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting expert with a strong background in financial processes and systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing data, and supporting corporate financial objectives. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. u2022 Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly recorded. u2022 Prepare and post journal entries to support accounting operations. u2022 Perform account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data. u2022 Conduct bank reconciliations to align internal records with external statements. u2022 Support financial processes related to mergers and acquisitions. u2022 Utilize NetSuite and other accounting software to manage financial operations. u2022 Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations. u2022 Assist in budgeting and forecasting to guide business planning. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes. The position requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 4+ years of experience. The position is onsite and will require someone to live in the Knoxville or surrounding areas.
