We are passionate employee owners and we are looking for team members who want to build their future with us.Role OverviewThe Project Accountant is responsible for managing all financial aspects of assigned construction projects within the Industrial Business Unit. This includes maintaining accurate project cost information, ensuring proper financial controls, and providing regular financial reporting to project managers and senior leadership. The Project Accountant will collaborate closely with project teams to ensure financial success and compliance with company policies and procedures.Role & Responsibilities Ensure timely and accurate ERP integrations between Procore, Viewpoint and TexturaReconcile, validate and correct data entries within Procore, Viewpoint and TexturaPrepare, analyze, and distribute monthly project financial reports and oversee timely AP and expense cost approvalsPrepare and assist in tax returns and government licensingSupport the generation and submission of timely and accurate project invoices to clients and assist in outstanding accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of paymentsSetup side jobs and maintain accurate revenue and cost recordsParticipate in project meetings as needed to provide financial insights and updatesCommunicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve financial issues and concernsEnsure compliance with company financial policies and procedures; conduct regular audits of project financials to ensure accuracy and integrityAssist in the development and implementation of improved financial controls and processes Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project accounting preferred, preferably in the construction industryProficiency with accounting software and ERP systems; experience with construction-specific software preferred Strong understanding of project cost accounting and financial reporting required Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Why you might love working here:You will have the opportunity to support a growing team and company in a true learning and mentoring environment Our Divisions have the “feel” of a small business while offering the resources of a large companyOur work spans across a multitude of market sectors, providing opportunities to shift between project typesWe’re 100% employee owned.
