At Bermex, we are always looking for motivated individuals who enjoy working independently and love the outdoors to become a part of our team.About the RoleThe Supervisor, Gas Leak Survey reports to the Operations or Project Manager at Bermex. This position plays a key role in interacting with customers, holding knowledge of industry standards, interfacing with management from within and outside of the department, and leading special initiatives in the utility department. This position also requires a high degree of natural gas knowledge, excellent time management, and exceptional interpersonal communication skills.What You'll DoGas Leak Survey Supervision:Identify, investigate, and resolve issues ensuring deadlines are metPartner with customers, managers, utility, or other personnel to ensure customer satisfaction with ongoing communication, cooperative problem management, and regular feedback on goal achievement or obstacles experiencedWork with Manager and other leaders to identify and address inefficiencies and opportunities for cost reductionExplain and demonstrate work tasks to new workers or assign training tasks to experienced workersRecommend and implement personnel actions, such as employee selection, evaluation, rewards, or disciplinary actionsRecommend and implement measures to improve worker motivation, equipment performance, work methods, or customer servicesRequisition needed personnel, supplies, equipment, parts, or repair servicesDrive vehicles or equipment to complete work assignments or to assist workersInterpret transportation regulations, safety regulations, or company policies and procedures for workersPrepare, compile, and submit reports on work activities, operations, productivity, or work-related accidentsResolve worker problems or collaborate with employees to assist in problem resolutionPerform or schedule repairs or preventive maintenance of vehicles and other equipmentAssist workers in tasks, as needed, such as reading daily meters/skipsExtensively walk and stand for much of the workdayOccasionally work outside in various weather conditions (rain, sleet, hail, snow, extreme heat or cold, etc)Exert physical force moving objects (routinely 10lbs of force, up to an occasional 50lbs of force)Customer Communication:Handle customer inquiries when applicable or refer customer complaints to the appropriate authoritiesProvide general information about the services performed to customers, when applicableUse telephones, tablets, and/or computers to communicateOther duties as assigned.About YouMust haves:Education: High School Diploma or GEDExperience: Must be 21 years of age or older.
