This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and all cycle count functions.Starting Pay Rate - $21.00 per hourOUR BENEFITS INCLUDE:Paid vacation and paid holidays beginning day one of employmentUp to 5 bonuses per year based on plant performance401(k) with company match up to 4%, plus an annual 2% contributionFree Safety ShoesFree Prescription Safety GlassesTuition ReimbursementMedical, Dental and Vision insurance beginningday oneof employmentShort Term and Long-Term Disability BenefitsFitness ReimbursementMonthly Employee Appreciation EventsEmployee Assistance ProgramFree Basic Life Insurance (2x your salary)ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform cycle counts of finished goods and raw materials to ensure inventory accuracy (multiple facilities)Run cycle count variance reporting in JDE and Reports NowInvestigate inventory variances & discrepancies identified from above reportsAssist with cycle counts for spare parts storerooms & research variances as requiredComplete month-end and year-end inventory countsComplete off-site physical inventory counts at the direction of the manager/supervisorClimbing and tape dropping onsite silo's up to 70' tall to verify inventory levelsMaintain various record keepingComply with established safety rulesComply with company policy and proceduresMaintain constructive working relationships with co-workers and supervisors/managersMaintain regular attendance in accordance with company policyPerform other duties as assigned to satisfaction of supervisorProvide personal transportation between all sitesMay be required to work some weekends to complete quarterly/annual physical inventory processQUALIFICATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTSRequired: Warehouse experience. Proven experience driving a forklift, good communication skills, demonstrates accountability and self-motivation, ability to work as part of a team. Basic computer knowledge and skills.PHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to hold, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must lift, carry and/or move up to 100 lbs. frequently. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. In addition, mobility to cover 2 facilities (North & South Plant) is required.WORK ENVIRONMENTThis position works in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. Noise level commensurate with large machinery. Ear and eye protection must be worn at all times and steel toed shoes and long pants are required.Temperatures in the building, although maintained, can be affected by outside weather conditions.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US markets. The pay range is based on relevant market data in our lowest and highest geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, experience, and skillset. Westlake is a total compensation company.
