Loan Operations Analyst

Responsibilities: u2022 Maintain the Reconciliation and Control functions within the Operations group u2022 Work with offshore reconciliations team and internal/external stakeholders on a daily basis to clear breaks and ensure all cash, position and trading accounts are reconciled u2022 Responsible for processing certain trade-related activity (fees, transfers, assignments, etc.) and fund financing (leverage facilities, subscription lines, etc.) entries in Advent Geneva general ledger u2022 Enter trades into Wall Street Office (u201cWSOu201d) and trade capture systems u2022 Set up Agency deals in WSO Agent and assist with other loan operation interfaces with IHS Market services u2022 Update and maintain reference data within the security master application for all securities/contracts applicable to the middle market direct lending strategy u2212 Review transaction documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy within the loan systems. u2022 Ensure all loans are rolled and correct rates are set for the next accrual period u2022 Serve as bridge between Loan Operations (upstream) and Finance/Accounting (downstream) teams u2022 Coordinate and work with outside service providers (servicers, agents, auditors, custodians, third party administrators, etc.) as needed u2022 Work with IT and other internal teams to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy across middle and back office systems u2022 Identify automation opportunities and process improvement/control initiatives, including ad hoc project support and data mapping documentation Requirements Requirements: u2022 BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field u2022 1-3 years of experience, preferably in a banking/financial services environment u2022 Bank Debt product knowledge preferred u2022 Advent Geneva G/L experience preferred u2022 Wall Street Office experience a plus u2022 Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) u2022 Must be self-motivated, self-directed and proactive u2022 Strict attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and strong organizational skills u2022 Must work well under pressure and be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment u2022 Must demonstrate professionalism, integrity and a strong work ethic u2022 Ability to prioritize workload and meet target deadlines To apply to this hybrid role, please send your resume to John Sadofsky at specialized recruiting professionals apply their expertise and utilize our proprietary AI to find you great job matches faster.
