Position Summary The Washington Nationals are seeking a licensed massage therapist to assist in the preventative and restorative soft tissue management of players and staff during the Major League season. This person will also assist the Medical Department in the rehabilitation of injuries for players and staff. This is a full-time, salaried position and this person is expected to travel with the Major League team. Primary Responsibilities + Work with the Medical Department to address existing player injuries, contribute to rehabilitation programs, and alert the medical staff to potential issues. + Create and execute care plans in coordination with the medical staff. + Foster a positive, friendly and professional environment for players and staff. + Maintain a treatment schedule for players, manage the treatment area, and ensure proper sanitization procedures are followed. + Document plans and progress for the Director of Athletic Training Qualifications + Must adhere Washington, DC licensing laws and regulations + Detail-oriented with a strong ability to work across departments. + Desire to learn, grow, and develop personally and professionally in alignment with organizational values and philosophies. + Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Compensation: The projected annual salary range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000 per year. Actual pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to the applicantu2019s: qualifications, skills, expertise, education/training, certifications, and other organization requirements. Starting salaries for new employees are frequently not at the top of the applicable salary range.
