Description Robert Half is partnering with a boutique law firm known for its sophisticated commercial real estate practice, including complex leasing and high-value real estate transactions. This role will provide primary support to a high-volume leasing partner/attorney who handles a constant flow of drafting, revising, and managing intricate amendments and leases. About the Firm: The firm represents clients across the full commercial real estate lifecycle, including: u2022 Acquisition, development, and sale of commercial (retail, industrial) and mixed-use properties. u2022 Sophisticated leasing matters for both landlords and tenants involving office, retail, industrial, and ground leases. u2022 Representation of borrowers and lenders in a wide range of real estate financing, including acquisition, construction, permanent, and mezzanine loans for office buildings, multifamily projects, hotels, land development, and shopping centers. u2022 Representation of building owners regarding telecommunications, cable and wiring, satellite dish, and related services. Responsibilities: u2022 Draft and revise commercial lease agreements and amendments, ensuring clear and accurate terms are reflected. u2022 Analyze lease provisions to identify discrepancies, missing terms, and structural issues. u2022 Collaborate with attorneys to prioritize and manage workflows across numerous leasing transactions. u2022 Coordinate the finalization of documents, including obtaining necessary signatures and organizing deal completion. u2022 Maintain organized records, tracking active matters and deadlines across the leasing portfolio. u2022 Monitor the progress of leases and amendments, ensuring they advance through each stage of the process. u2022 Perform quality control checks, document comparisons, and track critical dates from leasing agreements. u2022 Serve as a reliable administrative support for the leasing practice, facilitating communication and progress updates. u2022 Support efficient deal management by keeping internal files and status lists up to date. Requirements Must have minimum 4+ years of commercial leasing experience in a law firm environment; boutique firm experience strongly preferred. Must have a deep understanding of complex commercial lease structures and terminology, with the ability to draft first-draft leases and prepare substantive amendmentsu2014not simply populate template forms.
