A Snapshotof Your Day The primarypurpose of this position is to prepare parts, operate equipment and processesfor the application of Thermal Spray on component parts. The process can bemanual and include automation, combined with multiple varying parameters toproduce specific thermal coating structures. How You'llMake an Impact Operatecontrols to activate robots and apply gases/powders for coating structures thatmeet specifications, while also preparing and post-processing components forThermal Spray. Utilizesurface preparation equipment and perform manual tasks such as masking, partconditioning, and blending as needed. Maintainequipment functionality by adding media/powder, checking barrels, changingnozzles/hoses, and ensuring proper fluid levels and alignment. Interprettechnical documents (drawings, blueprints, specifications) to determinenecessary tools for operations and ensure compliance with Siemens standards. Load/unloadparts using authorized material handling devices and assist with craneoperations, while maintaining detailed records and adhering to quality checks. Maintain aclean work area through preventative maintenance, proper storage of tools, andassist co-workers as needed, adapting to shifting priorities and team dynamics. What youBring Operation andknowledge of the following is required Preparationof components including masking, surface protection of surfaces from overspray,operation of Surface Preparation machines and post processing of residualoverspray and surface finish. Operation andcontrol Robotics, including toolpath of robots and flow control of gas fuels.Adjustments to programs and gas flows to control desired Thermal Spray results. 2-4 years ofCNC experience operating robotics and auxiliary equipment. HS Diploma orGED Requited Applicantsmust be authorized to work in the US without the need for sponsorship.
