Superintendent I and II Construction

JOB REQUIREMENTS: SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking aSuperintendent that will be responsible for providing coordination,planning, and supervision to assistant superintendents, contractors, andcraft activities in a particular area of discipline. Develop and enhancecustomer relationships by providing excellent service. This positionoffers opportunities at both levels 1 and 2, allowing candidates toapply based on their experience and qualifications. Compensation forthis role is determined based on factors such as experience andlocation. RESPONSIBILITIES Plan and implement to ensure materials,equipment, and inspections support project schedule Review constructiondocuments for completeness and constructability, understand contractdocuments, coordinate plans with design engineers Develop and manageproject schedule, site logistics plan, utilize tools and equipment,collaborate with project partner superintendents Coach, supervise, anddevelop team members, conduct orientations, planning sessions, sitemeetings, supervise project partners, interview/hire/transfer/dismissteam members Ensure proper task coding, lead and track work progress,handle team member training, conduct career development discussionsBuild effective relationships with diverse backgrounds andorganizational levels Lead by example, offer coaching and feedback,manage performance Provide high-level management of safety, quality,risk, and compliance, recognize and mitigate unfavorable conditions,seek process improvements QUALIFICATIONS Associate's or Bachelor'sdegree in Construction, Civil, Architectural Engineering, ConstructionManagement, OR 10 years trade experience Current driver's licenseAbility to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities formultiple, complex projects Detail-oriented, able to organize and managemultiple project tasks Basic understanding of construction law andbusiness practices Intermediate Microsoft Office skills Positive,professional attitude and strong customer service skills Ability tointerpret and communicate company policies Effective communication andactive listening skills, openness to diverse input and feedbackKnowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity, inclusive behaviors, andAffirmative Action plans Superintendent I MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum 5 years construction management or related experience The basepay range for this role is $111,400 - $167,100 Superintendent 2MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 8 years construction management orrelated experience The base pay range for this role is $130,100 -$195,200 (Actual range is higher for the following office locations:Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%,Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).
