Mechatronics Robotics Technician

JOB REQUIREMENTS: New Journey, a Genesis10 company, seeks a Mechatronics& Robotics Technician (MRT) resource for a full time position with ourclient. Compensation: $26.46 per hour $1/hr. night differential Thisposition is responsible for Electrical and Mechanical tasks on automatedpackaging and distribution equipment utilizing working knowledge totroubleshoot and repair Control Circuits, Electrical DistributionSystems, and Preventive / Predictive maintenance. Promote a safe workingenvironment by following all safety procedures Maintain and troubleshootall automated conveyor systems in the building Lead and auditpreventative electrical/mechanical maintenance procedures Perform PLCControl level issue diagnosis and maintenance (Allen Bradley) Install,maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, controlcomponents, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximitysensors, solenoids, etc. Utilize blueprints and schematics to performmaintenance safely and efficiently Collaborate and build relationshipswith all levels in the organization Basic Qualifications High schooldiploma or equivalent 2 years of experience with automated conveyorsystems and controls 2 years of experience in the repair of materialhandling equipment 2 years of experience conducting predictive andpreventative maintenance procedures 1 years of metal and woodfabrication 1 years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading 1 yearof knowledge of electrical and electronic principles Procedure-basedmaintenance experience (PM) Ability to use and interpret statisticalequipment run metrics such as OEE/Up Time to prioritize accordinglyPreferred Qualifications Associate or higher degree from a vocationalschool or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field 2years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical orElectrical field Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE)safety standards accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)and Safety standards Project Management experience Experience with aComputerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Knowledge of computernetworking systems and infrastructure Experience with robotic orelectromechanical operation and maintenance Able to troubleshoot basicinput and output functions. Low voltage signal tracing andtroubleshooting of logical devices.
