Reference #: 35362ResponsibilitiesPrimarily involved with preparation of geotechnical reports, including analysis and recommendations with a strong commitment to meet project deadlinesManage construction materials testing (CMT) projects with daily report review, assist with resolution of issues, and training of field staff on your projectsPrepare both geotechnical and CMT proposals, manage project budgets, and prepare change orders and invoicesHost or attend project meetings with clients to follow up on delivered reports and provide technical solutions as necessaryOther duties may include assisting with or performing the following with supervision:Prepare drilling packages and obtain utility clearancesPerform research on local geologic historySupervise field work performed by drilling/test pit crews and assist with rig access issuesClassify soil and assign laboratory testingMentor and support Staff Project Managers, Assistant Staff Project Managers, and technicians in their developmentQualificationsBachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar is required2 years of related experienceProfessional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) preferredA professional license is required in each of the state(s) in which you work to use the license in the title.
