Lead Janitorial Cleaner

Overview Job Summary Details: The Cleaner provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area. These 2 positions are for Jr Utility Lead Cleaner. 25$ per hour. High schedule flexibility required but most work is done between 5pm and 1 am, Monday to Friday. Weekend availability needed. Driving to different location every day is required. Driving Company Van is required. Driving out of town 5% of the time is required. English and Spanish language required. Staff member will be trained and required to master Utility duties such as strip and wax, carpet extraction, scissor lift driving, wall painting, polish and buff floors and more. Expectations are that also regular cleaning is to be completed as needed. Pay: $25.00 per hour _The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. For information about ABMu2019s benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits Front Line Team Members ( (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) Basic Qualifications: u2022 Must be 18 years of age or older u2022 No experience required and on the job training provided u2022 No high school diploma, GED or college degree required Preferred Qualifications: u2022 Customer service experience u2022 1 year of similar work experience Responsibilities: u2022 Clean and maintain buildings/facilities u2022 Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures u2022 Notify Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems u2022 Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc. u2022 Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities u2022 Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment u2022 Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucks u2022 Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees u2022 Wash and replace blinds u2022 Gather and empty trash u2022 Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks u2022 Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas u2022 Service, clean, and supply restrooms A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
