Xylem is hiring a Senior Sales Representative to manage and grow a well-established territory within Evoquau2019s Light Industry Sales (LIT) team. We provide cutting-edge water treatment solutions for high-purity and wastewater applications across industries like aerospace, pharmaceuticals, microelectronics, healthcare, food & beverage, higher education, and more. In this role, you will work directly with clients to specify and sell tailored water treatment solutions, with a strong emphasis on Evoquau2019s preventative maintenance services. Youu2019ll serve as the primary point of contact throughout the customer lifecycleu2014ensuring satisfaction, fostering retention, and driving year-over-year business growth. Key responsibilities include maintaining and strengthening customer relationships through on-site visits within the assigned territory, as well as engaging clients via multiple communication channels to close deals and provide ongoing support. Youu2019ll respond to inquiries with expert product recommendations and guide opportunities through all stages of the sales pipeline using CRM tools, which are also used for forecasting and SIOP planning. The ideal candidate will bring a sense of urgency, prioritize safety, and work collaboratively across teams to execute sales strategies and uncover new business opportunities, all while maintaining high service standards and growing sales volume. Responsibilities: Sales u2022 Generate new leads and prospects u2022 Build and maintain relationships with clients u2022 Conduct sales meetings and presentations u2022 Negotiate and close deals u2022 Meet or exceed sales targets u2022 Provide regular sales forecasts and reports u2022 Identify and capitalize on market trends and opportunities Account Management u2022 Manage and grow existing client accounts u2022 Conduct regular check-ins with clients to ensure satisfaction u2022 Address and resolve any client concerns or issues u2022 Identify and pursue upselling and cross selling opportunities u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of products/services to clients Territory Management u2022 Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for assigned territory u2022 Identify and prioritize key accounts and prospects in territory u2022 Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities in territory u2022 Plan and manage travel to visit clients and prospects within territory Product Knowledge u2022 Maintain a thorough understanding of company's products and services u2022 Stay updated on industry trends and developments u2022 Effectively communicate product features and benefits to clients u2022 Provide feedback and suggestions for product improvements Administrative Tasks u2022 Keep accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions u2022 Submit necessary paperwork and reports in a timely manner u2022 Manage and track expenses related to sales activities u2022 Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions. Qualifications: u2022 A bacheloru2019s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field with at least 4 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts. u2022 Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. u2022 Proficiency in data analysis tools and software. u2022 Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. u2022 Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges. u2022 Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. u2022 Basic knowledge of water treatment systems and methods. Preferred: u2022 Extensive knowledge of water treatment methods including water softening, carbon filtration, reverse osmosis, UV purification, and deionization. The total target compensation for this position is $100,000 to $160,000(base plus sales incentive). Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
