Warehouse Direct-to-Consumer Picking

JOB REQUIREMENTS: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Inspect merchandise to ensureonly quality product is used to complete the order. Meet production,quality, and accuracy levels as established by business unit. Attentionto detail and ability to work under pressure in a deadline drivenenvironment. Select food and/or accessory products to fill customerorders completely and accurately. Load and unload packages off thepacking line and stack them on pallets. Utilize computer system andhigh-volume conveyor line to pack and prepare daily shipments using UPS,Fedex or other shipping software applications, including necessarypaperwork, shipping labels and tracking information. Maintain regularand punctual attendance. Work extended hours, as required by operationalneeds. Flexibility to work in other areas and departments, as needed.Must be able to cross train in other departmental areas. Maintain aclean workplace to avoid tripping hazards or other accidents. Follow allfood safety policies and procedures including performing daily, weeklyand monthly cleaning assignments and related activities as directed.Promote a safe work environment by following facility and company safetyguidelines. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safemanner. QUALIFICATIONS 1 or more years related warehouse experience,preferred. Voice picking (Vocollect)/RF scanner experience, preferred.Basic computer skills, required. Ability to count and perform basicmath. Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds, and able to standand walk for long periods of time. Ability to meet deadlines and workunder pressure. WORKING CONDITIONS The warehouse is anon-climate-controlled facility. The outside temperature generallyreflects the inside temperature with little air circulation. Must beable to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to dust. Must beable to wear safety glasses, safety vest and any other personalprotective equipment as required for the facility/work area (i.e.,gloves, safety shoes).
