A Technician's role is to make sure equipment is working andready for use before, during, and after each surgery. What You Will Doin This Role Tests, cleans, and sterilizes equipment in operating roomprior to procedures. Present in operating room during procedures; levelof involvement in procedure is subject to physician demands. Removes,cleans, disinfects, and sterilizes all surgical equipment afterprocedures. Ensures operational excellence of all vehicles and equipmentby communicating defects or necessary maintenance to key stakeholders ina timely manner. Transports equipment to ensure that it is in the rightplace at the right time for necessary procedures. What You Will Need forThis Role High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior medical,EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience preferred. Must holda current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license. Must have a safedriving record based on Agiliti policies. Must be able to lift up toeighty pounds and push or pull up to one hundred pounds. Must be able tostand and/or sit for long periods of time as well as being able to bendand reach repeatedly. Be able to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb,crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for long periods of time.
