Position Description: Oversee anddirect preconstruction, engineering and field installation of allMechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) systems. Reports to: ProjectManager, Project Executive Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Specifically relating to the mechanical and electrical systems (e.g.HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, LowVoltage, Fire Sprinkler) Develop andmaintain relationships with engineers, design consultants,subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owner's representatives toensure alignment with client goals and expectations from initiation tocompletion of the project. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding ofthe contract documents (including Turner's contract, plans,specifications and applicable codes). Lead, supervise and develop TurnerMEP staff, including providing input on or completing performanceappraisals. Oversee daily activities of Engineer-MEP,Superintendent-MEP, and subordinates. Manage MEP procurement, projectbudgets, quality, safety, engineering, coordination, scheduling,installation, commissioning, and close-out processes. Able to identify design featuresthat command cost premiums and recommend alternatives that delivercomparable or improved function. Demonstrated ability to presenttechnical material.
