FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours: 40.00 Shift: Shift 1 Job Summary:The Urology Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the dailyoperations of a busy academic health system Urology ProcedureDepartment, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.This role provides leadership for clinical staff, manages resources toalign with patient needs and budget targets, and drives continuousimprovement in care delivery and operational performance Accountable formanaging the delivery of safe, effective and efficient clinical servicesand patient care. This role is responsible for deploying flexiblestaffing resources in a manner that matches and aligns with patientneeds within the budgeted productivity targets across the ambulatoryenvironment. Services may also include coordination of qualityimprovement initiatives, recruitment, retention, hiring, managingperformance, and supporting the growth of staff. Ensures resources forclinical care are available. Ensures all clinical work is accomplishedin accordance with policies and procedures. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:Supervise and coordinates operations to ensure safe, effective patientcare. Manage scheduling, staffing, and resource deployment to supportvolume and productivity goals. Lead recruitment, retention, performancemanagement, and staff development. Ensure compliance with policies,procedures, and regulatory standards. Promote change management,efficiency initiatives, and quality improvement efforts. Provideleadership and support in high-stress clinical situations. A minimum of2 years of experience in a healthcare environment in a clinical role isrequired. EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: Leadership experience preferred. Qualityimprovement, process improvement, team building, problem solving andcoaching experience is highly preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:Bachelors degree in nursing is required. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Advancedproficiency with Microsoft Office is required. Clinical experience inprocedural or surgical settings; prior direct or indirect leadershipexperience preferred. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Required current state ofWisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License froma participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
