JOB REQUIREMENTS: We Energies and Wisconsin Public Service, subsidiariesof WEC Energy Group, is seeking an Engineering Specialist focused ondata monitoring, diagnostics, and analytics for our RenewablesOperations and Maintenance Engineering Team. This position can belocated in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Wisconsin or within areasonable drive to any of our WEC Energy Group renewables locations inWI, IL, IA, SD, NE, and KS This position currently offers flexibilityfor a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) with time spent in theoffice. This position is part of a job family (Associate EngineeringSpecialist, Engineering Specialist, Senior Engineering Specialist, andPrincipal Engineering Specialist) where experience will be thedetermining factor. Job Summary This EngineeringSpecialist provides technical support to a large operating fleet ofrenewable energy projects by designing, deploying, and maintainingcritical data architecture and pipelines which support the business andanalytics needs of the Power Generation Renewables team. JobResponsibilities Develop architecture & maintain databases of criticalequipment metadata. Manage data flows and data pipelines that feedreal-time predictive models and other data tools. Work closely withRenewables team, business & data analysts, and IT support groups tosolve data access, architecture, and process needs. Use available datato review the performance and reliability of wind / solar / batterystorage assets. Collaborate with Renewables team to design and deployanalytics and KPI reporting at a fleet level.
