JOB REQUIREMENTS: Location: US:WI:WAUWATOSA at our FROEDTERT BLUEMOUNDCLINICS facility. This job is ON - SITE. FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours:40.00 Shift: 1 Schedule: 8 hour shifts working between the hours of7:30am - 5pm, Monday-Friday, no weekends Job Summary: Provides supportfor the daily operations of Pharmacy Technician staff at the assignedlocation. Acts as a daily resource for Pharmacy Technicians and providesguidance regarding technical and operational information. In addition,provides technical and clerical assistance to the pharmacist in theprocessing of medication orders and the monitoring of drug therapy.Works with the Technician Coordinators, Pharmacists, and Managers todesign and implement operational improvements and employee training.Functions within the guidelines of the Wisconsin Statutes andAdministrative Code - Pharmacy Examining Board - Pharmacy PracticeSections. Perform all duties of the Pharmacy Technician as assigned.Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of 3 yearswork experience in a hospital pharmacy department is preferred. Aminimum of 1 year formal supervisory experience is preferred. EDUCATIONDESCRIPTION: High School diploma or equivalent is required. TRAININGDESCRIPTION: Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician trainingprogram is preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Exceptional customerservice skills. Proven ability to communicate effectively with a diversegroup. Proven attention to detail. Outstanding organizational andfollow-up skills. Proven leadership skills. Experience with variouscomputer systems and programs. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Application forWisconsin registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required by hire dateand must be obtained within 12 months of hire. Staff hired into thisrole prior to 3/31/23 must have applied for Wisconsin registration by3/31/23 and have until 3/31/24 to obtain registration. Certification asa Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through passing the Pharmacy TechnicianCertification Boards exam (PTCE) or the National HealthcareerAssociations exam (ExCPT) is required within 6 months of hire.
