Data Warehouse Developer

Description We are looking for a skilled Data Warehouse Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing and maintaining data solutions that support organizational analytics and decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integration, accuracy, and accessibility using modern tools and methodologies. This is an ONSITE position in Milwaukee, WI with some flexibility for a hybrid schedule. If you are not local or are unwilling to work in an onsite capacity, PLEASE do not apply. Responsibilities: u2022 Design and implement data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence and reporting needs. u2022 Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from Oracle into Azure SQL Server. u2022 Collaborate with stakeholders and business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions. u2022 Optimize workflows and ensure efficient performance of the data warehouse environment. u2022 Validate and monitor data quality to ensure integrity and reliability. u2022 Create and maintain documentation for processes, architecture, and data models. u2022 Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and system performance. u2022 Utilize Azure Data Factory for data processing and workflow management. u2022 Apply Kimball methodology to design and maintain efficient data models. u2022 Support the ongoing improvement of data systems and analytics processes. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in data warehousing, including design and development. u2022 Expertise in ETL processes and tools, with a focus on data integration. u2022 Proficiency in Azure Data Factory for creating workflows and managing data pipelines. u2022 Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Database. u2022 Familiarity with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse systems. u2022 Experience with business intelligence and data warehousing methodologies. u2022 Ability to apply Kimball methodology in data model design. u2022 Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and quality.
